Abstract:
The aid system for plant protection, a professional service, was developed and applied in Longyan tobacco region, which was based on the network of tobacco stations and forecast stations for diseases and pests in tobacco. The implements of the mechanization and informationization were employed in the system. The three years of application demonstrated that the system was significant in control of tobacco diseases and pests. By use of online service, QQ group, telephone, and mobile phone photo, and BBS, tobacco diseases and pests could be diagnosis and controlled promptly. The “3R” problem of chemical pesticides could be effectively alleviated and the idea of public plant protection also could be realized by the application of the service system. Therefore, it is suggested to apply this service system to other tobacco production regions.
